WP 3D Model Viewer now comes with glTF animation support
I am very happy to announce that the WP 3D Model Viewer V1.5.1 now provides glTF animation support. For quite some time ago now I created and extended a <model-viewer> based 3D web glTF and glb viewer plugin for WordPress.
The focus was to have an easily manageable tool at my fingertips, which allows me to integrate .gltf and .glb models in any place place of my WordPress website according to my settings and preferences with copy and paste shortcodes.
So now it does. Feel welcome to have a look what it looks like right on this page.
Available Functionality
Yet this is the first version which supports animation control, the plugin provides on the front end:
- play and pause available animations
- select from available animations and control the animation speed
On the backend you can enable and disable:
- animation support
- animation autoplay
- player control elements
- available animation selection
- animation speed selection
